BIO

Dominique Pride is the deputy director for research at ACEP. She supports Director Jeremy Kasper and the leadership team by mentoring researchers, contributing to ACEP strategic planning and leading major research initiatives.

Prior to her deputy director role, Pride served as a research associate professor of economics at ACEP, specializing in energy and environmental economics and applied microeconomics. Her research interests include energy cost burden, residential energy efficiency and energy demand. She now splits her time between her ongoing research and her duties as the deputy director for research.

Pride holds a Ph.D. in natural resources and sustainability from the University of ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Fairbanks, where her dissertation examined the value of energy efficiency in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥â€™s residential real estate markets. She also received a master’s degree in resource and applied economics from UAF and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Marshall University.
