The ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Center for Energy and Power is looking for a new team member to help the advance a new model for applied energy research across Arctic and Pacific regions, with a focus on microgrids and resilient energy systems in remote ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥n communities.

The ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Regional Collaboration for Technology Innovation and Commercialization, or ARCTIC, program was established by the Office of Naval Research in 2017 in support of the Navy’s needs for public-private partnerships promoting commerce and collaboration between ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ and the Arctic and Pacific regions.

The will help build the operational backbone of a collaborative research network tackling real-world energy challenges through community-driven innovation. This is a unique opportunity to support the systems, relationships and research that are shaping the future of energy resilience in the North and beyond.
