Harper Building

The Harper Building was home to UAF's former Interior ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Campus, whose programs for rural Interior ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ were absorbed by the UAF Community and Technical College in mid-2025. The university announced on Oct. 1, 2025, that it planned to lease out the building.
The building is named after Flora Jane Harper, who in 1935 became the first ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Native woman to graduate from the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Agricultural College and School of Mines.
Access is off Fairbanks Street and Draanjik Drive. The Geist Road entrance was closed in 2018.
