Research interests/biography

Suleimani works on tsunami inundation mapping for ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ communities. She uses numerical models of tsunami wave dynamics to identify coastal areas that are at high risk for future tsunamis. She uses modeling results to make community-specific tsunami inundation maps that are used by local emergency officials for evacuation planning and educating the public about tsunami hazards.
