Driving Social Impact: Highlights from UAF’s Innovation Celebration held by OIPC
Last month our colleagues at the UAF Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization () held an Innovation Celebration to forge interdisciplinary connections to drive social impact at the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ for community benefit.
The event provided the highlight the recent patent awardees from UAF and those inducted in the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Innovator Hall of Fame. OIPC also gave out its Innovations, Disclosures & Entrepreneurial Activities () Awards. Attendees learned about patents and innovative research being licensed for community benefit, all in an innovative space.
For the IDEA awards, each winner received a custom trophy designed by Eric Hartley of UAF's Center for Innovation, along with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize.
