The ֱֻ Department of Science and Environmental Journalism is hosting a free public screening of the 2025 award-winning documentary “Steal This Story, Please!”
Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmakers Carl Deal and Tia Lessin, the film takes viewers behind the scenes with independent journalist Amy Goodman as she reflects on three decades of reporting some of the most consequential stories of our time. Broadcasting from both the front lines of global conflicts and the set of her daily news show, “Democracy Now!,” Goodman highlights the stories and voices often passed over by commercial media.
The screening takes place on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3:30 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium on the UAF Troth Yeddha’ Campus.
