Join United Way at UAF
Oct. 22, 2026
United Way of the Tanana Valley is celebrating its 70th annual campaign and UAF has been an important part of that history. Just 10 campaigns ago, UAF donors contributed more than $40,000 to the Community Care Fund, which supports partner nonprofit organizations throughout the local community.
This year, United Way is working to unite 700 people across the Tanana Valley in support of these local organizations and resources. UAF can help meet that goal in several ways:
- Give via payroll deduction: to make an ongoing contribution directly from your paycheck.
- : Make a one-time or recurring debit/credit card donation
- Compete in the 2026 United Way Chili Cook-off at UAF: to compete for top honors.
- Taste and vote at the Chili Cook-off: Bring your appetite and donation ($5 for students and $10 for employees) to taste all of the chili and vote for your favorites
