UAF spring break snow removal and towing

With the extreme weather we have experienced this winter, Facilities Services wants to set the campus up for success come spring. A major component of this effort is removing hard-packed snow. With many folks off campus during spring break, this is a great opportunity to maintain campus roads and parking lots. To ensure a safe environment for our equipment operators and to protect community personal vehicles, certain parking lots will be temporarily closed during spring break. Once a lot has been cleared, it will be safe to return vehicles.

Badger Towing will relocate vehicles left in closed parking lots at the owner’s expense.
If you plan to be away for spring break, please move your vehicle to the Taku parking
lot beforehand to avoid incurring a towing fee. Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s
expense, and tow fees are non-appealable.
