Biography
I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and my path in veterinary medicine blends education, clinical insight, and curiosity about the nervous system. At UAF, I serve as the lead instructor for Neurobiology and contribute to Physiology, Clinical Pathology, and Clinical Sciences. My scholarly interests sit at the interface of veterinary medicine and neuroscience, and I enjoy mentoring students as they develop clinical reasoning and scientific literacy. Away from campus, I recharge by hiking--and I'm never far from animals; their wellbeing is the reason I do this work.
