Hi there! My name is Atticus, and my hometown is Spartanburg, South Carolina. I decided to come to UAF for Political Science, but changed to Communications later on. Secondary Education
Hey Hey! My name is Isabelle. I am in my third year here at UAF and am studying to be a high school English teacher. I am originally from Anchorage but after a visit to UAF my senior year of high school, I knew that this was the place for me. You can find me in the honors space in the library or in my room doing homework and art projects. If you see me around, be sure to say hi!

Business Administration
Hello! My name is Jacob and I am from Savoonga, ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥. My major is Business Administration, and I intend to graduate this fall. I chose Fairbanks because I previously attended the Rural ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ Honors Institute as a high school student in 2018, and I have been with the University ever since. I love to play volleyball with my friends on campus, lift weights at the Student Recreation Center, and study at the 24-hour library study area here at UAF. I am also working with the Athletics Department for the UAF Women's Volleyball team as one of their line judge officials, so I will be there for every home game UAF has at the Patty Center. I am excited to answer any questions you may have about life here on campus at the ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥.

Elementary Education
Hi everyone! My name is Khaila Fratis and I’m from the beautiful Saint Paul Island, ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥. I am a transfer student here at UAF, majoring in Elementary Education. Living in Saint Paul has given me the chance to learn my UnangaxÌ‚ language and teach it, which has inspired me to become a teacher. The UAF community has been incredibly welcoming, and I’ve been enjoying the opportunity to study and work here on campus. The experience has been very rewarding, and I’m very excited to meet new people and continue my journey towards becoming an educator. I look forward to seeing you all around campus!

Climate and Arctic Sustainability
Hi! My name is Lili. I was born and raised in Washington, DC, but now live in Fairbanks as I pursue my BA in Climate and Arctic Sustainability. My grandmother is Nenets and this led to my dream of pursuing a degree that I could use to give back to my family and culture. UAF has provided me with the opportunity and resources to do just that—something I’m very grateful for.
Some of my hobbies include beading, hiking, and traveling! I'm also involved in several on-campus organizations, including the Honors College and the Festival of Native Art (FNA).
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I can’t wait to see you around campus!

HI! My name is Salina! I’m from Anchorage and moved to Fairbanks to study Secondary Education. I love living in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥, so when deciding where to study, UAF was on my radar, and I’m so glad I chose to study here! In my free time, I enjoy theatre, reading, painting, and pretty much anything crafty or creative. Around campus, you can usually find me in the Art department or getting coffee with friends at Arctic Java. I also love going to community events, so if you see me around, say hi!

Fisheries and Marine Sciences
Hiya! My name is Sam, I was born in Northern California but now I live in Central New Jersey. My Dad was in the Military so I moved around a lot!
I am Marine Biology major at UAF. I chose UAF because it offered a really good Marine biology program. I've never been to ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ and wanted to explore all the amazing opportunities the University had to offer! I chose Marine Biology because I have a deep fascination towards the ocean and sharks are my favorite animals!
I enjoy drawing, playing video games, bonding with my snake, and researching anything marine science or paleontology related. When I'm on Campus you can usually find me at Artic Java or at the Food Court. Don't be a stranger and come say Hi!
