Drone completes first flight from Nenana to Fairbanks airport

ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥'s leading public uncrewed aircraft program made another significant advance Friday when a drone flew from the Nenana airport and landed at Fairbanks International Airport. The flight, conducted by a ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ research center, was the first in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ of a drone departing one airport and arriving at a controlled airport.

ACEP and partners receive $6 million to help secure electric grids

Communities hit hard by climate change in ÀÖ»¢Ö±²¥ and elsewhere in the U.S. could benefit from a new research project aimed at improving their electric grids.
