Pressure Gauge Testing

Dial gauges on pressure canners need to be tested for accuracy every year. Pressure gauge testing is available by appointment at the Anchorage office. To schedule an appointment, contact DeShana York at 907-786-6330 or ddyork@alaska.edu.

The UAF Cooperative Extension Anchorage Outreach Center serves Anchorage, �ֻ�ֱ��’s largest city, with nearly 40% of the state’s population. Anchorage schools are among the most varied in the country. While 75% of school families speak English, the remaining 25% speak 100 different languages, such as Spanish, Hmong, Samoan and Filipino.

The district offers outreach programs in agriculture and horticulture; health, home and family development; integrated pest management; nutrition; and 4-H and youth development.
